Our team will be at WORM x Boijmans: Identity Pioneers in Rotterdam this June, where Repro Uncensored will be presenting on the growing impact of platform governance, AI moderation, and online censorship on queer communities, artists, cultural spaces, and democratic participation.
As online platforms increasingly shape how we express ourselves, build community, access information, and participate in public life, questions of digital identity are inseparable from questions of visibility, power, and governance. Through our global documentation of online censorship, Repro Uncensored has witnessed firsthand how opaque moderation systems and algorithmic enforcement disproportionately affect marginalized communities and cultural movements.
This event is particularly relevant to our work as it explores both the possibilities and limitations of digital identity in an increasingly platform-governed world. Bringing together artists, performers, technologists, and cultural practitioners, Identity Pioneers examines how digital spaces can create new opportunities for self-expression and connection while also reproducing exclusion, discrimination, and control.
We are excited to join this evening of art, performance, music, and critical dialogue as part of Pixel Pioneers, contributing perspectives from the frontlines of the fight for digital rights, cultural visibility, and freedom of expression online.
